National Journal quietly admits trickle down economics doesn’t work

hoary and largely debunked concept from the Reagan years that tax cuts for “wealth creators” boost the economy

This is particularly useful for the current tax hike debate. While I’ve always supported flat taxation because I don’t believe people should be punished for making more money than others, the argument that doing so is better for the economy doesn’t hold water.

In other words, while meritocratic arguments exist for the above, the most commonly proffered economic argument isn’t true.
