How to restore the Hidden Line Removal option in ANSYS Fluent Meshing Mode

If you’re reading this, you’re probably an intrepid CFD practitioner who updated to ANSYS Fluent 14.5+, lost TGrid (now folded into Fluent as Fluent Meshing Mode), and have found the Hidden Line Removal Display Option grayed out as below:

You’re also probably trying to avoid “That’s why I use [some older version]” comments when you ask for help. Not to worry, that’s what this post is for. To re-enable the Hidden Line Removal option, simply change the Color Scheme drop down option from Workbench to Classic in the Graphics Window section ofย Display Options:

And that’s it. Now you can continue to be leading edge AND completely functional ๐Ÿ™‚
